Re-evolution of space was the theme of this project. Theater, mercantile, department store, and a return to creativity is the Arthouse. Renovation of  this modern art museum in downtown Austin involved adapting existing steel roof trusses for a new roof terrace and green roof. Also the replacing of the second floor at the entry gave way for a new grand entrance stairway while preserving its heritage and unique character.
