Approximately 500,000 square feet addition at a cost of $90 million. This expansion is heroic with 270 clear span steel trusses supporting the ballroom level floor. Atrium steel framing is an ordered web of steel struts and tension cables supporting the shingled glass. Richard Martin was Project Manager for the convention center expansion while at a previous engineering firm.
